Dear Colleagues ...
As we are just a couple weeks away from the 15th Annual Meeting of IAMSE in St. Petersburg I wanted to remind you that the room block for the hotel is about to expire.
I strongly encourage you to make your reservations now as the hotel will no longer honor the highly reduced rate negotiated for this meeting after May 24th. I would also like to remind you to not use Internet sites such as Hotels.com, Expedia.com etc. to make your reservations. IAMSE will not benefit from rooms booked under this method and we will be unable to assist you if a problem should develop regarding your reservation.
Please contact julie@iamse.org is you need any assistance in booking your room or submitting your conference registration.
I am looking forward to seeing you in St. Petersburg!

Please Consider Supporting the IAMSE Silent Auction
With your help, the IAMSE Silent Auction can make a big impact for future conference attendees!
How can you help?
Each year during the IAMSE Meeting we conduct the Annual IAMSE Silent Auction. The funds raised during this auction are used to help offset the cost of future meeting attendance for our scholarship winners. Please consider helping us make the event even more successful then years past!
Here are a few examples of what you could contribute (you're an imaginative group - we're only limited by our creativity):
Functional equipment
Computer hardware
Software - educational programs or applications
signed artwork / photographic images
books
Textbooks
film
video or graphic supplies
lab supplies
lab or service bureau gift certificates
medical or photographic antiques
collectibles
handcrafted items
promotional items from suppliers
mugs, t-shirts, caps, etc. from your institution/state/country
food, wine, or specialties of your state/region/country
We also can use help from anyone who would like to be involved - I can tell you up front, while it does involve some work, it is great fun to be a part of this!
If you would like more information, please contact julie@iamse.org
